Summary of Position:
NVE seeks an Event Producer to supervise and coordinate all aspects of events from conception to execution. The primary responsibilities are developing ideas and concepts for an event, developing executable plans, overseeing operations, managing project timelines, directing staff, and coordinating technical and production teams. Producers also manage project budgets to ensure financial profitability and bring value to our clients.
This position will be in our Spirits division, working primarily with globally-recognized liquor brands to execute projects that range from fully owned flagship launch events, to sampling opportunities, pop-up bars, influencer dinners, industry activations like Tales of the Cocktail, and sponsored parties at cultural tentpole events such as Super Bowl, Coachella, and Art Basel.
Bonus credit:
- Agency-side experience of working with alcohol brands
- Familiarity with local liquor permitting and compliancy laws
- Enthusiasm and understanding of cocktail culture and liquor trends
- F&B/hospitality management and/or bar experience
The ideal candidate is a blend of a creative and analytical thinker, capable of handling quantitative and technical duties while also using their eye for design to implement the visual aspects of an event. They possess the ability to juggle a variety of tasks and collaborate with various teams to successfully execute events. This is a management position and will supervise staff members across a variety of departments, overseeing overall event operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in creative ideation, collaborating with the Creative and Account teams to brainstorm and generate concepts.
- Develop project plan, production schedule and project budget that meet client’s requirements.
- Collaborate and communicate with strategy and technical teams; provide direction to project staff.
- Conduct initial site inspections and test all equipment to ensure that the venue is adequate and the equipment functions up to standard. Attend event rehearsals and oversee show run-downs to resolve potential technical errors or event issues.
- Oversee all production and technical aspects of events including directing production staff, testing equipment, and managing the control room. Manage set-up of all audio-visual equipment and work closely with the technical director.
- Implement the original creative vision for the event by contracting venues, audio visual, catering, talent and technical staff according to the requirement of the event director.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven event production experience required
- Previous experience within the spirits or related industry
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
- 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
- Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment
- Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, and social media sites
- Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise, etc.) and ability to successfully manage production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement
Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items
- Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events

Salary Estimation:
This is a full-time, exempt job opportunity. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. The estimated compensation is $80,000 - $110,000. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
